I'M WALKIN': A Journey Through Parchman (2005)

A Mississippi Delta Blues musician’s journey through, and triumph over, a ten year sentence at Parchman Penitentiary, Mississippi’s notorious state prison, a former plantation for runaway slaves built in the 1840’s.

Winner, "Best Photography"; Honolulu International Film Festival

“Special Mention”; Philadelphia Documentary and Fiction Festival.

 
 

GULU STORIES (2006)

A collection of vignettes, an intimate portrait of life on the ground in Northern Uganda, that--through music and storytelling--collectively relay the pain, the suffering, and the endurance, of the people of Northern Uganda through 22 years of war.

A stylized, interpretative glimpse at how the poor and downtrodden were once cared for in rural North Carolina. The story of the poorhouse institution is revealed through the recollections of  former residents, historical documents, and the remnants of old poorhouse structures. Told through the narrative of Kim Quintal, whose family members lived and died in the Poorhouse.

Ganon Baker is a former professional and Division 1 college player and now works as a trainer for NBA, college and high school players. Players he has trained include Kevin Durant, Steve Francis and TJ Ford.

Ganon and Rex collaborated on a series of clips to showcase Ganon's skills and unique coaching philosophy.
